Bacon is a smoked product made from boneless pork streaky, seasoned with salt and spices. It matures for about eight days. After this period, the streaky are hung and undergo a thermal process, where they receive only heat, and then go to the holmwood smokehouse, which gives it a special flavor and texture. Later they will stabilize in dryers with controlled temperature and humidity until they are ready to be packed. It can be eaten in slices, fried or as part of some traditional cuisine dishes.
